Alfred Wilson, MBA, CFE
Alfred is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and he brings extensive experience in external and internal auditing to the Office of Internal Audit.
Prior to joining Columbus City Schools, Alfred was an Auditor at Ernst & Young, LLP in the Assurance Practice, where he performed financial and operational audits for Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing, sport entertainment, and healthcare industries. More recently, he was an Internal Auditor at JP Morgan Chase, where he audited various banking operational functions.
Alfred is a graduate of the University of Mount Union (Alliance, Ohio), where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Additionally, he obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Accounting from Baldwin-Wallace University (Berea, Ohio).
Alfred is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals (CULYP). Alfred is also a volunteer boys basketball coach at Linden-McKinley STEM Academy, where he is responsible for student-athlete leadership development and college recruiting initiatives.
