|Alpine Elementary houses a large population of children as well as the oral/aural elementary population of the Columbus Hearing Impaired Program. Several self-contained classrooms are available to deaf and hard-of-hearing students in grades 1-5. Students have the opportunity to participate with age-appropriate peers in all aspects of the school experience.
Students who are hearing impaired have an Individualized Education Plan based upon current levels of performance. The staff at Alpine Elementary is flexible and accommodates educational opportunities for all students.
Support services are available to students served in the Columbus Hearing Impaired Program.
