This exhibit will nourish your sense of community and challenge your sense of humor. Artist, Stephanie Rond, a graduate of the first class of Ft. Hayes High School, is proud to bring the exhibition Dangerous Impermanence to her alma mater. Rond is a street artist, curator and gallery owner.

The Sound of Silence, Work by the Creative Women of Color

Creative Women of Color (CWoC) is a group of African American artists who reflect a huge diversity of talent who create art influenced by their rich African heritage. They range from painters, illustrators and sculptors to fashion designers, jewelry makers and photographers from many different backgrounds. They seek to educate, encourage, partner, elevate and inspire.

Image Ohio, Roy G Biv Gallery's 15th Annual Photography Exhibition
Reception: January 22, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
This is the ShoTow's 15th year partnership with the Roy G Biv Gallery's Image Ohio, a yearly survey of the best photography, video and new media artwork made by artists living in, or from Ohio. Roy G Biv, located in the Short North, is regularly voted best gallery in Columbus.

Columbus Watercolor Society Spring Show
Reception: March 12, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
The Central Ohio Watercolor Society was founded in 1964 and is the preeminent transparent watercolor society in the region. Watercolor artists must apply and are juried into the society. Most of the members are award-winning artists with regional and national reputations. COWS remains dedicated to promote and preserve the unique character of transparent watercolor.

35th Annual Senior Portfolio Exhibition
Reception: May 20, 6:00 - 8:00 (Career Center Graduation)
This annual exhibition features the artwork of the senior visual art students in the Career Center's Portfolio Media, Interior Design and Photography programs, and the Fort Hayes high School Art Programs.
"The Little Gallery" in the Shot Tower Gallery features monthly exhibits of our Fort Hayes Arts Program curated by the gallery interns. To schedule a group tour or visit please send a note or call gallery director Teresa Weidenbusch with a request date, number of students and if there is any special focus. Gallery interns are available to introduce the exhibit and/or tour students through the work if arranged ahead of time.
