Dion is a Certified Government Audit Professional who has been with the Columbus City Schools – Office of Internal Audit since 2008. He is a graduate of Central State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Dion has over 15 years of internal & external auditing, and grants financial management experience.
Prior to joining Columbus City Schools, he was a Fiscal Manager with the State of Ohio, Office of the Attorney General and the Franklin County – Office of Homeland Security & Justice Programs. He also started his professional career with the State of Ohio, Auditor of State.
Dion is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
