ODE PE Assessments Tools

Ohio Senate Bill 210, The Healthy Choices for Healthy Children Act, became law June 18, 2010.

Students will be assessed in meeting benchmarks contained in the Ohio Physical Education Academic Content Standards. All students in Grades 2, 5, 6 and PE II will be assessed.  Students are assessed in 5 standards and 10 benchmarks with the following 3 ratings: Limited, Proficient, or Advanced.
The Below links are documents that provides an instrument for physical educators to assess their students in all grade levels.
2016-2017 Timeline for ODE PE Assessment Turn-in
 For MS and HS the assessment should be completed and data recorded at the end of each 9-week or semester course but not submitted to the District PE Coordinator (Dr. Cain) until May 26th. All same grade level classes will be submitted on one ODE Data Excel Spreadsheet.
