Upcoming Gifted Professional Development Opportunities
The Gifted & Talented office will be hosting professional development opportunities throughout the year to assist teachers with fulfilling the requirements described here. CEUs will be offered for any session hosted by the Gifted & Talented office. Teachers may also elect to pursue hours using outside professional development providers as long as the provider is a qualified expert in gifted education and the gifted-specific content is aligned to the competencies in the operating standards. Teachers who choose to use outside providers are responsible for any costs associated with these experiences and will need to submit a proposal and follow-up documentation in CIMS to receive credit toward their license renewal.
Keep checking back for new opportunities as we learn about them!
