Biographical Information
Jacob Ramsey II began as the athletic director at Marion-Franklin in 2015.

Jacob is a native of Columbus, Ohio and a proud graduate of Cols. Independence High School class of 2006. While attending Independence HS Jacob was a three-sport student-athlete participating in basketball, football and track garnering all-city, all-district and all state recognitions.

After high School, Jacob attended the University of Cincinnati as a scholarship student-athlete with a major in communication. As a member of the Cincinnati Bearcats football program Jacob was recognized as a four-year letterman and two-time Big East Champion. In 2008, Jacob was named to the Phil Steele third team all-Big East publication. In 2009, the Columbus native led his Bearcats to an undefeated season resulting in a #3 AP ranking. While a Bearcat, the University of Cincinnati earned bids to the International Bowl, Bowl, Discover Orange Bowl and the All-State Sugar Bowl. Following the 2009 season, Jacob was invited to participate in the rookie minicamp as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Since 2012, Jacob has functioned as a member of Cincinnati Public Schools, Edvantages Schools and South-Western City School faculty in various roles. All the while, gaining meaningful experience aiding the success of the students he encounters. Jacob credits his process oriented approach and diligent work ethic to the lessons he has learned through the scope of athletics.

Jacob is the proud father to Amiya and Nina Ramsey.
