At the Columbus City Schools (CCS) Vendor Outreach Fair, small business owners like Charles Moss found that a simple hello could lead to lasting partnerships. Moss, owner of Moss Cleaning Services, said his success story began in a packed room at the June vendor fair.

From creating business ideas to earning certifications, CCS students transformed a week of summer learning into a foundation for future success.

The 2026 "Triple Crown" City League Champ (100, 200, 400 meters) Nehemiah Mills joins the show with track teammate and All-State hooper Reuben Russell-Holmes, along with head coach Christine Douglas, who lead the team to its first City League Title is school history in 2025 as well as a City League runner up in 2026.

Columbus City Schools teachers stepped into the role of learners during STEAMM Rising at The Ohio State University, tackling hands-on engineering, logistics and design challenges. The experience equips educators to bring more real-world, career-connected learning into classrooms through the Academies of Columbus City Schools.
