The Office of Training and Development launched in August 2021. It is designed to provide an intentional focus on leadership development and support for the classified staff. The office is committed to equipping classified staff with essential tools that develop excellent leadership skills and prepares staff to meet the diverse needs of the students we serve.
The primary goal of the department is to Assist, Develop, Advance, Prepare, and Thrive (A.D.A.P.T.) the behavior, attitude, skill, competencies and knowledge of the developing stakeholders to ensure interconnection with the district.
This work will also include professional development offerings, mentoring, ongoing support, and differentiated professional development. The office will prioritize the district’s Strategic Plan for improvement to align all classified professional training and development opportunities.

The training categories are Open skills, Social Emotional Learning, Learning Technologies, Software/ Hardware, District Systems, and Job Specific training.

How does Training and Development differ from Teaching and Learning?
The Training and Development Department coordinates with Academic Services to provide professional development opportunities on Professional Development/ Records Day.
