Bill Mitchell

  • Bill MitchellWilliam “Bill” Mitchell is the Supervisor of School Counseling and Student Support Services for Columbus City Schools.

    Mr. Mitchell, before becoming a supervisor, was a building school counselor and served in over eleven buildings in the district. He ensures school counselors are ardently present in the three domains of academic support, college career development, and social-emotional development. He is a certified trauma informed, restorative practices trainer, and a Truth Racial Healing and Transformation facilitator. 

    Mitchell has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology, a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Ashland University. 

    Mitchell has been with Columbus City Schools since 1999.
