Alex Nikolaidis is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Educational Studies at The Ohio State University. He has worked as a Graduate Research Associate for Columbus City Schools Department of Equity since 2021, assisting in the development of the CCS Institute for Educational Equity.

Nikolaidis is a former Fulbright Grantee and OSU Distinguished University Fellow and has received research grants for interdisciplinary research in education. His primary areas of specialization are educational foundations and education policy. His research examines the theoretical foundations and practical implications of educational justice as well as the equitable formulation and implementation of school discipline and curriculum policy.

His work has been presented at leading education conferences, including the American Educational Research Association, and his articles have been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Curriculum Studies, Harvard Educational Review, and Educational Theory.
