After School Tutoring with OSU Students

  • Branches Tutoring is an organization comprised of undergraduate students at The Ohio State University, who understand the importance of serving as good examples for younger children. We aim to help the community by tutoring children at Gables Elementary School, utilizing the content the students have been learning in class. All tutors have been certified by The Ohio State University as tutors who are able to work with children, and every tutor has undergone training in order to tutor effectively and appropriately. Blaise Tayese and Saksha Krishnan, the organization’s president and tutoring coordinator, are both undergraduate juniors pursuing majors in neuroscience. With an organization comprised mostly of college students pursuing fields such as medicine, law, and engineering, we understand the importance of education in the lives of young students! The organization hopes to make an impact in the lives of elementary students, beginning with the elementary school our own club president attended in the Columbus community!

The program runs through December 2, 2021, and registration for Grades 1-5 is open through October 15, 2021.
