Hello Columbus Online families,

Please make plans to join us for our Open House/Curriculum Night. Tuesday September 27th we will hold zoom sessions from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Families are encouraged to attend the sessions for your child's content and unified arts teachers. Zoom links have been sent by your child's teacher and can also be found on our website the evening of the event.

We will be hosting a Columbus Online Academy Orientation meeting on Wednesday Aug. 31 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Families will have a chance to hear from classroom teachers and support staff for the expectations for the year. This will not be a curriculum meeting. The purpose of this meeting it to provide an orientation of the expectations for the Columbus Online Academy. 

Parents will be able to join different classes through out the evening. This is a virtual event, please use this zoom link to join the meeting.  https://ccsoh-us.zoom.us/j/85185944728 We are asking that you please have your child log you into this meeting using their CCS credentials so we have a record of which families attended. 

Please take some time to review  the attached Columbus Online Academy Compact and you and your child need to sign it and return it to us by email, or your child can bring it in when they come in for testing. 

We are excited to be Welcoming all students in grades 1-8 back to class on Monday August 29th. Classes start at 9:00 a.m. and all students in grades 1-8 are expected to be in attendance. Students will need to log into their classes using their CCS username and passwords like they did last week. All of the classroom zoom links are listed on the website under the parent and student tabs. In addition, teachers have sent all families information as well. 

Kindergarten students will not be required to attend school until September 2nd. Your child's Kindergarten teacher will be in touch with you soon to re-schedule your child's KRA assessment and provide details.
