CCS Juniors and Seniors to Participate In Kiwanis College Fair

 

Kiwanis College Fair October 7, 2019 -- With high school graduation just months away, Columbus City Schools seniors had an opportunity Monday to learn more about colleges and universities they maybe interested in attending as well as how to pay for a post-secondary education.

The 40th annual Kiwanis College Fair partnered with Columbus City Schools and I Know I Can, to bring hundreds of juniors and seniors from CCS high schools and neighboring school districts to visit with colleges and universities across the nation.

The college fair provided an opportunity for students to speak with representatives from 150 colleges and universities, apprenticeships, programs and military branches from the U.S. Armed Forces.

Students met individually with admissions staff and union/military representatives, received tips on how to navigate the college selection process 2019 Kiwanis College Fair and learned more about financial aid, as well as admissions requirements.

The career fair, put on with the help of I Know I Can, is one of the largest college access program in Columbus. I Know I Can has made higher education a reality for tens of thousands of Columbus City Schools students who dreamed of a college education.
