CAHS Ranked in “Top 25” List of 2021 Best High Schools
April 28, 2021 -- U.S. News & World Report has released its list of the 2021 Best High Schools in Ohio and across the country, and Columbus Alternative High School is in the Top 25.
“There are 872 high schools in Ohio, and we are ranked #23,” said Darryl Sanders, Principal at Columbus Alternative High School. “Ranked above Granville High School, New Albany High School, Dublin Coffman High School, and even Upper Arlington High School, due to our 2020 graduation rate. Amid a pandemic, we still excelled. This could not have been achieved without our instructional excellence and flexibility in a virtual learning world. Moreover, we demonstrated genuine care for the well-being of our students."
Other District High Schools also made the national magazine’s best high schools list. They include:
SCHOOL | OHIO RANK | NATIONAL RANK |
Columbus Alternative HS | #23 | #630 |
