July 5, 2023 -- Daylan Barnes had a great career at Whetstone High School. The class of 2023 shortstop and team captain finished his senior year with 27 hits, 40 runs scored and 31 stolen bases in the regular season. He was also awarded defensive MVP and first-team All City.
His coach Tim Broskie noticed Daylan's skill set as soon as he stepped on the field ahead of his freshman year, and he's not surprised to see the leader Daylan has become, as one of the players the whole team looks up to.
Daylan wants to play baseball in college, and he's going to continue to work hard everyday on and off the field.
