CCS Student Ambassador Program Continues With Northland, East Speaking At Board Meeting
Feb. 21, 2020 -- Following in the footsteps of students from Columbus Downtown High School and Walnut Ridge High School, who presented at the first Board of Education meeting in February, ambassadors from Northland High School and East High School shared happenings in their buildings during this week's Board meeting.

The presentations are a continuation of Dr. Talisa Dixon's new initiative during her Superintendent's Report at the board meetings.
East High School began with ambassadors DeVionte' Benjamin and Ja'Yona King.
Students discussed the various extracurricular offerings at East, such as bowling, and how they aid with enriching their educational experience.
Following East's presentation, Alonzo Waugh, Fatima Henderson Benard, and Francisca Akoutah from Northland spoke.
