I Know I Can To Host Annual Golf Tournament, Oktoberfest Event
On Saturday, October 19, Columbus City Schools’ college access program, I Know I Can, will host two important events aimed at raising money for central Ohio students to attend college.
The I Know I Can Annual Golf Classic takes place at New Albany Links Golf Club. Foursomes, twosomes, and singles are available for the 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. The total package includes 18 holes with a cart, breakfast, lunch, two drink tickets, a voucher for a future round at a New Era Golf Club, and complimentary admission to the second event of the day, Oktoberfest. From 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., immediately following the Golf Classic, I Know I Can will celebrate Oktoberfest, the annual German festival, by hosting a fun filled event also at New Albany Links. All proceeds from both events support scholarships for Columbus City Schools students through I Know I Can. Founded in 1988, I Know I Can’s mission is to inspire, enable and support Columbus City Schools students in pursing and completing a college education.
