CCS Students Advance to Ohio Invention Convention State Finals
May 23, 2022 -- Judging for the 2022 Ohio Invention Convention video submission preliminary competition is complete, and the scores have been tabulated.
The Ohio Invention League team announced that the following CCS student inventors will be advancing to the Zoom judging circles for the 2022 Honda State Finals:
- Zariah Holbert
- Moriel Hounmenou
- Alejandro Ibanez
- Rickayla Jones
- Desirae Jones-Penn
- Jewlyett King
- Holden Powers
- Alex Radliff
- Fritz Towne
- Guiliana Underdown
- Demetrius Woodley
First-place winners in each of the 3 regions (N, C, S) in each grade band (K-3, 4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12) will receive a $529 college savings award from CollegeAdvantage Ohio’s 529 plan (OTTA). Many more inventors will be moving on to the 2022 Honda State Finals, along with the award-earning inventors from the preliminary competition.
