CCS Award-Winning Communications Team Shines with State and National Awards
July 1, 2025 – Each year the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) awards school districts across the nation with honors, recognition, and awards for their impactful and innovative work in school communications.
With over 20 categories, and three levels of recognition, the Columbus City Schools (CCS) communications team has come out on top with a total of 18 awards in 7 categories. Awards are evaluated based on a rubric specially designed for each category. Once graded, only the most outstanding pieces are awarded recognition – Excellence, Merit, or Honorable Mention, while some may not receive any distinction. This is the fifth year the communications team has earned national and state recognition for their work supporting CCS.
