The 2025 Homecoming Queen is selected to be Belmary Narvaez!

Belmary made her presence very known with multiple very creative and well thought out posters in the weeks prior to the dance, and it shows her dedication to being a leader. When asked after the dance why she thought she should have won, Belmary replied,

“I thought I should have won Homecoming Queen because I’ve always tried to make everyone at school feel seen and included. To me, being Queen isn't just about a crown. It's about kindness, school spirit, and representing the heart of our community”

Belmary showed that she could be a representation of leadership in the community and showing real commitment. Her kindness and pure-hearted actions gave her the opportunity of being a true queen.

The West homecoming dance this year had a large crowd and was enjoyed by students. Student Andrew Rodriguez, who is a senior at West, said,

“It was better than last year, and it was a big improvement over the previous year.”

Many students thought the decor was very nice, and the Queen Belemary Narvaez said herself that it was pretty.  Many others were pleased with the enchanted garden theme.

Some improvements were suggested. In the future, some said the playlist could use more diversity. Belemary said,

“The DJ didn’t play any Hispanic songs.”

The biggest success of the dance was the photo booth; it had multiple people going into the booth during the duration of the dance, and a majority of students' favorite addition.

Many students, and even students that aren’t from West, were satisfied with the West Homecoming and want to see how much better the future Homecomings will be.
