The end of fall sports season

Kengy Amaya is a junior at West High School and played for the 2025 girls soccer team.  She said,

 “It was the best experience,” that she had felt when playing for the girls soccer team. She got very emotional about the seniors that play for the team that are leaving this year.

“My seniors are leaving this year, and I'm getting emotional thinking about it,” Amaya said.

Amaya wasn’t the only student in soccer who enjoyed this soccer season. The guys from the soccer team also enjoyed the soccer season.

Ibrahim Barud is a senior who played for the boys soccer team. He said he enjoyed the season.

“The season was fun, and I had a lot of enjoyment, and I will never forget it,” Barud said.

Lorenzo Uriel Calvillo Adlerete is a senior who played for the boys soccer team. He said he loved being on the soccer team and being out on the field with his teammates. 

“It feels weird being my last year. When I first started I said to myself there was still a long way until my last year, but it is finally my last year.”

Congratulations to the 2025 fall athletes that have played for West.
