September Meeting Minutes

Open House Tomorrow!

Open house is a great chance for all families to engage with the learning that has taken place so far this school year. Students are excited to show you how they are growing as artists and authors and much more!

This is also a great time to connect with other families and learn the names of your child's classmates. As always, be patient while parking and courteous to our neighbors.

Have a conflict, but want to come in for a tour? Email Family Ambassador, Tricia Porostosky, tporostosky@columbus.k12.oh.us to set up a tour that works for you (please note, classroom teachers may not be available during tour time).

  Picture Retakes: Wednesday, Oct. 3rd

Was your child absent on picture day? Retakes will be NEXT Wednesday, Oct. 3rd. To order pictures online go to   www.inter-state.com/order and use the code 32644QA for Indianola. Please do not send any envelope if you order online.

Box Top Competition Continues

Bring in your box tops and fill up other class bins! Yes, that's right, the class with the LEAST box tops win!

Tubs will be counted in November and the class with the fewest box tops will vote on their prize!  Prize options will be announced by your teachers soon!

Absent? Tardy? Email!

Please send an email right away to dholland@columbus.k12.oh.us when your student is going to be absent.  If the student's absence or late arrival is due to a doctor, dental, or court appointment, PLEASE get a written excuse from the office you are visiting. Picking up a child early without a valid reason will be counted as unexcused.

Please email documentation to Denise (see above) or fax to 614-365-8324. Thank you for your cooperation!
