My name is LaRon Marshall and I am the new Assistant Principal at Liberty Elementary. I am extremely excited for this opportunity to work alongside you all as we continue to do what is best for our students.
Just to tell you a little bit about myself: I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio and I moved to Columbus shortly after graduating from the University of Mount Union in 2010. I am entering my 9th year of education, spending the last 7 years within CCS serving multiple roles. I’ve taught kindergarten, 3rd grade and 5th grade. I am coming over to Liberty from Columbus Gifted Academy, where I served as the Leadership Intern. During my time there, I worked to build strong relationships and to grow students academically and social/emotionally.
As for my personal life, I met my wife while working at Livingston Elementary. She is a 1stgrade teacher. We will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary in September. We have a son who is entering 5th grade and a daughter who is 7th months old. I played football and basketball at Mount Union and I am a die-hard Cleveland sports teams fan (yes, even the Browns)!
I look forward to meeting and building relationships with all of you. This year will be exciting and full of growth for all of us. I am excited to be a Liberty Lion!
