Family and Community Engagement Series (FACES) - Mental Health Part II

January 31, 2025 -- Mental health matters—especially for our students! 💬

This week on #FACES, Gherima continued an important conversation on mental health with the scholars of Columbus City Preparatory School for Girls. Gabrielle, a seventh grader, emphasized the power of support, saying: “Adults being able to check in on you and make sure that you are okay” is key to student well-being.

The transition from elementary to middle school can be challenging, but Restorative Practices are making a difference! By helping students process and communicate their feelings, we’re creating a stronger, more supportive learning environment—inside and outside the classroom.
