Northland High School Weekly Update from Mr. Johnson (week of February 24th)

Hello Vikings!

This is Principal Johnson with your weekly update.

This week all of our 11th grade students will be taking the ACT test in our building.  In the past there has been a double bus run on that day, but there is no double bus run this year.  Again, during the ACT administration this week, there is no double bus run. All classes each day this week begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. for all students.

Ohio's Graduation requirements have changed. Columbus City Schools is hosting several informational meetings for families to learn more about the new changes and to have their questions answered.

I encourage you to attend one of these informational sessions and talk to your school counselor about your student's path to graduation. The meetings are free and open to families at all grade levels. There is a meeting at Whetstone High School tomorrow, Monday, February 24th at 6 p.m.  Check our school website for more information.

We are 4 weeks away from the end of the third marking period.  If your student is in need of assistance to improve their performance, please contact an administrator, school counselor, or your child’s teachers to get the help they need.

Those are all of your announcements for this week.

Have a great week and Go Vikings!
