Girls in Gear

Girls in Gear aims to provide mentorship to our African American middle and high school female CCS students through our Youth Leaders. We teach CCS students bike safety and bike maintenance skills. GIG strives to develop a better understanding of youth perceptions of neighborhood safety and empower girls to take up space and use their voices to create positive change in their communities.
