Everyday Mindfulness Retreat
I am glad that I went because it turned out a be a very impactful experience, one I would do again in the future. I learned self-regulating and reflection techniques that will help me cope and become more resourceful.
Attending the recent full day (and free) wellness retreat was an incredibly timely and transformative experience for me. This retreat was a reminder of the importance of Soul-Care (Stevenson, 2024), and I encourage everyone to take advantage of the incredible wellness resources our district offers. The work we do is challenging and can be exhausting at times. These were not only my lessons but also shared by a diverse group of attendees from across our district, all from different walks of life, learning together how to heal, grow, and prioritize our well-being.
