Take Our Career & Technical Education Survey [Perkins V Grant]

May 19, 2020

Dear Career Tech Education Parent & Student,

It’s an exciting time for the District’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) initiatives, and we need your thoughts and opinions to help shape our education programs and career pathways.

This year, there have been some major changes to the Perkins V Grant – which provides critical funding for CTE initiatives. A new requirement of the grant funding is to gather input from our educational leaders, community organizations, post-secondary partners, parents and student stakeholders, on various Career & Technical Education, workforce development, and education topics.

Attached to this letter, you will find a short survey accessible via the provided link. The survey will only take a few minutes of your time to complete. Your responses will help to identify gaps and needed programmatic changes within the CTE structure for Columbus City Schools as well as pinpointing opportunities for every student to explore, choose, and follow CTE career pathways.

Thank you in advance for filling out the survey connecting to the link enclosed. The funds provided by the Perkins grant are crucial to the continuation of CTE programs and your response is needed for this process. We appreciate your support for our programs and especially value your opinions.
