Dr. Johnson's Weekly Update
Hello Vikings,
This is Principal Johnson with your weekly update.
End of Marking Period 1
We are 11 school days away from the end of the first marking period. Please be sure that you are checking on your student’s progress in their classes. If you need assistance with logging into Infinite Campus to check grades and attendance, please contact the main office or email me.
Homecoming Activities
This will be a busy week as we engage in our Homecoming activities. We started our festivities this past Friday with our Royal Assembly where members of the Homecoming Court were introduced to the student body.
Here are a few other activities happening this week:
Friday: Homecoming Parade at 5 p.m. around Tamarack Circle
Friday: Homecoming Football Game at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 can be purchased at Locallevelevents.com
Saturday:
Homecoming Dance at Valley Dale Ballroom from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. Use this link to order tickets:

A free bus will be available for students who want/need to be transported from Northland to Valley Dale for the Homecoming Dance. Students should arrive at Northland by 6:30 p.m. The bus will depart at 6:45 p.m. and return to Northland at 10:30 p.m.
Closed Lunch Policy
Please be mindful that Northland has a closed lunch policy. That means that students are not allowed to leave school or have food delivered to the school during their lunch period. If students violate this policy, they are subject to discipline. Your support is appreciated.
