Meet Our New P.E. Teacher

Ms. Lauren Jackson is Salem's new Physical Education teacher. She comes to Salem from Nashville, TN, and has been working as a P.E. teacher for 14 years. Her favorite thing about P.E.is helping students learn how there are many ways to be healthy and exercise, such as dance, sports, cycling, and any way you can move your body. She wants them to create lifelong healthy habits as early as they can. Welcome, Ms. Jackson!

Salem Candy Fundraiser, Nov. 1-14

Salem Elementary is partnering with the World's Finest Chocolate for our Fall fundraiser NOW until Nov. 14. Scan this QR code for the fundraiser flyer.
Students received one box of candy bars to sell in their neighborhoods, family businesses, friend groups, or anywhere else that is safe to make a sale. Once they have sold an entire box, you can contact the school for additional boxes. Any unsold candy will need to be returned with your student or will become the responsibility of the student's guardians to pay.
Students have the opportunity to win great prizes from local businesses. Names will be entered into a raffle depending on the number of boxes sold. Prizes include an entertainment package from Star Lanes - Polaris, pizza from Pizza House, bikes, and much more!
Money raised will help Salem Elementary fund field trips, support field day, secure additional transportation needs, purchase school supplies, develop teacher appreciation events, and more.
Thank you for your participation to help make our Salem community even better!
