Thank you to all of our families who made it out to the K-2 Pastries with Parents Event! To any who missed it – the event focused on early childhood literacy. Our staff members narrated the book I am Going! By Mo Williams. Parents and their children followed along and engaged in a writing activity about sentence fragments. Did you know March 4-8 is Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Week?
The Reading Buddies program connects high school and elementary students. As reading buddies, they mentor students who may one day be Briggs students themselves.
Students at Georgian Heights Elementary School are learning about prominent Black individuals for Black History Month, and the history of one inventor prompted them to do a school-wide letter-writing activity.
Columbus City Schools (CCS) is investing in staff wanting to become teachers through the Grow Your Own (GYO) Teacher Scholarship Program.
