5TH GRADE FEEDER ORIENTATION AND SCHEDULING PRESENTATION
Our annual 5th grade feeder orientation and scheduling presentation will take place on Thursday evening, February 11 from 6:00-7:00 PM over Zoom. The program will provide information on academic, extracurricular and support opportunities at Dominion, as well as a facilitates tour and information on course scheduling for the 21-22 school year.

Logging Into Learning...How to access E-Classrooms
Each teacher has set up a Google Classroom where they will post important instructional information. Invitations to the classrooms were sent to each student through their CCS email. Students may also join their Google Classroom by viewing the classroom code located on their schedule in the Infinite Campus Student Portal. Zoom invitations to each class will be shared daily by each teacher in their Google Classroom on synchronous learning days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Students will visit the Google Classroom to access independent work on Wednesday, our asynchornous day. For assistance in accessing this information, logging in, activating student email and/or the Student Portal please see below:

Checking In for Virtual Attendance
Middle School students are required to "check in" to each class each day by going into the Infinite Campus Student Portal. Please Click Here for a video tutorial.

Student Social Emotional Support Services
The Dominion Middle School Student Services team works to support the physical and emotional health and wellness of students. Students and families are able to access services by visiting the Student Services Website or requesting support from a member of the team.

Virtual Opening
The Columbus City Schools will begin school virtually on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 with plans to begin school in the hybrid model on Thursday, October 29. Students will be assigned to Cohort A, attending school on Monday and Tuesday, or Cohort B, attending school on Thursday and Friday. All Columbus City Schools will be closed on Wednesday for sanitizing per COVID safety best practices.

Supply and Chromebook Distribution
Each student should be using a Columbus City Schoolsl issued chromebook. Families are able to check out a chromebook by contacting the school and scheduling an appointment. District issued wi-fi hotspots are also available.
Students will also receive school supplies, consumable math and ELA textbooks and a student planner. Please contact us at 614-365-6020 or by emailing Technology Pick-Up Appointment Request.
