The First Grading Period has finished! Thank you for sending them to school ready to learn. Can you believe it's Thanksgiving time already!
This year continues to bring fresh opportunities for students to learn, grow, and connect. We Continue to be eager to partner with you in supporting your child’s academic success and personal development. Together, we’ll continue to nurture curiosity, creativity, and kindness throughout our school community. We also celebrated our 1st quarter All Stars and gave out attendance awards and quarterly behavior improvements. Check your student's book bag for awards and coupons to Applebys!
Please review the following policies to ensure your student is prepared and ready for the school day: attendance, start time, late procedure, dismissal procedure, staff and school visitation, cell phone policy, and staff communications.
Upcoming events are below and on the school calendar. 5th grade CogGat testing will be Monday the 10th and 11th and 2nd Grade testing will be November 11-12 and make up days November 13-14. Ongoing State Tutoring (PATH4ward) begins November 11th for select 4th and 5th graders Monday-Thursday, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. We have our monthly Parent meeting on the 12th (changed from the 19th) and we will be discussing the future of Duxberry, please plan to attend and make your voices heard. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your partnership and involvement are key to your child’s success.
