Dear Duxberry Arts IMPACT Elementary Families,
-
Dear Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are thrilled to welcome your children back for another exciting and enriching year of learning. Our dedicated team has been working diligently over the summer to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
Thanks to the team’s hard work, students will enjoy some exciting new additions to our playground, including swings and interactive musical play structures like outdoor drums and wind chimes. Inside the school, our library has been refreshed with bright, colorful chairs and new, comfortable tables—perfect for cozy reading and group activities. The building has had some minor beautifications on the first floor. The classroom doors are brightly painted, and we have new doors and some windows. We can’t wait for your children to experience it all!
This year brings fresh opportunities for students to learn, grow, and connect. We are eager to partner with you in supporting your child’s academic success and personal development. Together, we’ll continue to nurture curiosity, creativity, and kindness throughout our school community.
Many of our teachers participated in professional development sessions this summer to enhance their instructional practices and strategies—ensuring our classrooms remain vibrant places for high-quality teaching and learning. Everyone on our team has been working hard to make this year a positive, memorable experience for your child.
Please keep an eye out for updates and upcoming events throughout the year. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your partnership and involvement are key to your child’s success.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Let’s work together to make this year one of growth, discovery, and achievement!
Warmly,
Principal Berrios-Brown
