PLEASE TAKE TIME TO REVIEW THESE IMPORTANT END-OF-DAY PROCEDURES REGARDING TRANSPORTATION AND DISMISSAL

2. HOW TO REPORT A CHANGE IN TRANSPORTATION PLANS
If your Bus-Rider is to be a Car-Rider, you must send a written message to the office, or call the office, before 2:45pm on the day of the change.
3. THE SCHOOL OFFICE IS “CLOSED” BETWEEN 3-3:30PM DAILY DURING DISMISSAL
To contact the office about changes in transportation plans, you must call the office before 2:45pm.
The office phone will not be answered between 3:00pm and 3:30pm for last minute changes.
All office staff is very busy between 3:00pm-3:30pm, ensuring that children are safely loaded onto their buses or into their cars during this time.
There is no staff available to answer phones or meet with visitors between 3:00-3:30pm.
4. EARLY PICK-UP
If you want to pick up your child from school early, you must come to the office before 2:45pm. The office will be closed promptly at 3:00pm.
Parents arriving after 3:00pm will have to wait in the car pick-up line for their child to be released by the staff between 3:20 and 3:30pm.
5. CAR-RIDER PICK-UP PROCEDURE-for Grades K-5
Pre-School and Special Needs Students are released from the East Doors. Pre-School Parents park in the East Parking Lot and follow the procedures provided by the Pre-School Team.
We will continue to dismiss Car-Riders for Grades K-5 out of the West Side doors by the cafeteria.
Cars must line up in the alley between Duxberry and the Church, driving north (pointing toward Maynard). Parents must stay in their cars. A Duxberry Staff member will come out to your car and call for your child by walkie-talkie, one at a time, in the order of the car line-up.
Students will be released starting approximately 3:20pm.
The office is closed to visitors and early sign-out between 3:00-3:00pm.
6. LIMITING VISITORS IN THE OFFICE FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING
Parents are welcome at Duxberryl but visitors are limited while our community's risk for COVID transmission remains high. Facial masks are required for everyone. We ask that only one family enter the School Vestibule at a time. If there is a person being helped in the office, please wait until the person leaves before asking for admission into the vestibule.
Thank you for respecting these new procedures to keep our students, families, and staff safe during this time.
