Registration for Summer Experience Opens Feb. 8!
Registration for Summer Experience for elementary and middle school students is NOW OPEN!
The 2025 Summer Experience is FREE to all Pre-K through 12 Columbus City Schools students! Summer Experience for Pre-K through 8 students kicks off June 23, and June 9 for high school students. We're excited to provide CCS students and families with a summer of exciting school and community-based learning experiences. Click here to learn more.

PLEASE NOTE: 2ND GRADE'S CAMP DATE HAS CHANGED TO 5/14/2025
2nd Grade will enjoy an extended day at Camp Willson. Students will depart from Cedarwood at approximately 9:15am and return close to 7pm. Camp Registration deadline is 4/17/2025.

Third Graders will spend one night at Camp Willson, 4th and 5th graders will spend two nights. Students will leave Cedarwood on 5/13/2025 at approximately 9:15am and return on 5/14/2025 and 5/15/2025 at approximately 3:30pm. Packing lists will come home with students. Any overnight chaperones will need to obtain a BCI Background check. This can be done at Columbus City Schools district offices at 3700 S. Hight Street. Appointments are highly recommended as this facility has 50 or so appointments a day and backlogs can occur. Camp Registration deadline is 4/17/2025. Background check form is available below or in the Cedarwood office.

4th & 5th graders will begin Dreams on Horseback trips in February. 4th & 5th Grades will start in February. 2nd & 3rd will start in April. Grades 2-5 will attend 6 times, 1st Grade will go once. See calendar for all dates. Students MUST have completed permission slips to attend.
