City League Stars showcases CCS' outstanding student-athletes and their collegiate goals.

Damon Griffin II, class of 2025, had a breakout season this year for the South High School Bulldogs earning first team all district and first team all city honors. The quarterback threw for 18 touchdowns and ran for another 12 touchdowns.

Coach George Yates II believes Damon is the total package, and although South has experienced some recent success, he believes Damon is the type of player who can lead South to the "next level" of success. Damon wants to go to college to fulfill his dreams, and he wants to become a sports trainer.
