Three Schools Transitioning to Remote Learning, Four Schools Fully Closed on Jan. 28, 2022

January 27, 2022 -- Due to an increased number of staff absences, the following schools will transition to remote learning for Friday, January 28 and will NOT hold in-person classes:

  • Northtowne Elementary School
  • West High School (added Friday at 5:30 a.m.)
  • Yorktown Middle School (added Friday at 5:30 a.m.)

Classes are cancelled for the following schools due to heating issues in the buildings:

  • Siebert Elementary School
  • West Broad Elementary School
  • Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys
  • BlendED Pre-K-8 (due to teachers and staff who typically work on-site at the Boys School)

All other Columbus City Schools will hold in-person learning for Friday, January 28, 2022.
