The events of (Tuesday, April 20) continue to demonstrate the need for leaders, at all levels, to come together to address the very real issue of systemic racism in our Columbus community.
Columbus City Schools Superintendent/CEO Dr. Talisa Dixon addresses the deaths of two CCS students who were killed on Tuesday.
Columbus City Schools is a diverse community that stands together. Xenophobia, prejudice, racism, and violence have no place in our society, nor are they acceptable in our school community.
For the last 47 years, the Columbus Rotary has supported the students at Colerain Elementary School. Instead of a holiday party, this year, they gave each student an especially useful gift.
Dr. Dixon: "Xenophobia, prejudice, racism, and violence have no place in our society, nor are they acceptable in our school community."
April 1st will now be a remote learning day for all students.
