• CHLDREN  iReady At Home Testing This School YearCHILDREN

iReady Reading and Math Diagnostic is an online assessment that will provide vital information which will be used to improve the learning pathways for your student. Due to our current remote learning status, it has been decided that our students will take their initial diagnostic from their home at this time. It is not a decision that we’ve taken lightly, but after much consideration, we have decided this is the safest way to complete this expectation. This information is critical to help guide our instruction to serve our students. Starting next week, your teacher will contact you to assign the specific date and time for their assessment. We have to complete our assessments by September 30th.

  • CCS 2020-21 TESTING WINDOW DATES

Each year, we begin our school year, assessing where our students are performing with their academics. So, our district is required to administer a Reading and Math Diagnostic for students in Grades K-8, despite us learning virtually. Our new diagnostic is iReady. We will administer our assessments three times this year:

  • WHAT PARENTS CAN DO

We acknowledge that we are learning in some unique times. However, your support is needed in this process. We are asking you to do the following 3 things:

    • Helping your child to identify a quiet place to work
    • Encourage your child to do their best
    • Support them but do not help them with this task. We need to capture their learning in order to effectively plan the next steps.
