CCS is a No Phone Zone District
Research shows that when students disconnect from their cell phones during the school day, they become more attentive, perform better academically, and develop stronger connections with their teachers and peers. Our goal is not to penalize, but to create learning environments where every student is fully engaged and distraction-free.

Parents, please remember to make sure you have completed the annual update via the parent portal. It is very important that we have up-to-date addresses, phone numbers and emergency contacts for your students.
The parent portal also houses bus route information, attendance, report cards and more. If you have never logged into the parent portal, please contact the office and the secretary can assist you with getting your invitation code. If you have forgotten your username or password, please email parentportalaccess@columbus.k12.oh.us, along with a copy of your picture ID, student's name and ID number to have your account reset.

Student Breakfast Arrival
Students may begin entering the building at 8:30 AM for breakfast. School begins at 9 AM. All students enter the building on the side for breakfast where the bus lane is. Students should only enter through the front doors beginning at 9:00 AM. Please note, students are unsupervised prior to 8:30 AM, so we encourage you not to drop them off prior to this time. Breakfast is available to all students.
Late Arrivals
Students arriving after 9:00 AM must be signed in to the blue late log. The logs are located right outside the office on the desk by the window. When marking your students in late, please make sure you are providing the reason. Marking "appointment" is not an excused absence, please make sure you are providing the appointment type.
Early Leaves

Students can only be signed out early by an adult who is 18 and over. A valid ID must be provided upon pickup. The pickup person must be listed on Infinite Campus in order to pick a student up early.
