Africentric Girls Basketball Team Will Play for the City League Championship!
Congratulations to the Africentric Girls’ Basketball Team!! The Nubians will play in the 2023 City League Basketball Championship this Saturday!! Please see event details below:
• Teams - Northland Vikings vs. Africentric Nubians
• Date – Saturday, February 4, 2023
• Time - 12 Noon
• Location - Columbus East HS
• Doors open to the public at 11:00 am.
• Tickets are only available online at the Local Level website.
• Tickets go on sale Wednesday 2.1.2023 at noon.
• Tickets are general admission: $6.00.
See you at the game this Saturday!!

Bus Routes are Changing After Winter Break!
As part of CCS' Transportation Reliability Improvement Measures, the District is undertaking an unprecedented mid-year action to update ALL bus routes across the city, effective Jan. 3. To learn more, visit our Transportation website at:https://www.ccsoh.us/transportation

Dress Code
All students are expected to wear dress code.
Grades 9-12: Black polo tops and khaki bottoms.
Grades PK-8: Purple polo tops and khaki bottoms.
This is an expectation that is strictly enforced.

CAEC Student Artist Wins Award for Artwork!
We would like to congratulate JJ Brown for receiving the Honorable Mention Award for the 4th Annual Otterbein High School Art Exhibition! She received this award for her photograph titled "Little Brother." JJ is now officially eligible for the talent scholarship if she attends Otterbein University. Congratulations to JJ for being the first CAEC student to place in the top 5 for this art exhibition!
