Parent Notice: Title I
Columbus Africentric Early College is a Title I school. Based on our student Academic growth below the state minimum requirements and overall school student poverty level, we receive Federal money for students, teachers and family support:

Dress Code
All students are expected to wear dress code.
Grades 9-12: Black polo tops and khaki bottoms.
Grades PK-8: Purple polo tops and khaki bottoms.
This is an expectation that is strictly enforced.

In honor of World Veterinarian Day, Columbus Africentric Early College welcomed renowned veterinarians and stars of the National Geographic Wild show "Critter Fixers: Country Vets", Drs. Terrence Ferguson and Vernard Hodges.
The "Vet for a Day" program familiarize CAEC students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, to the exciting world of veterinary medicine.
