TRANSPORTATION REMINDER: April 14, 2022 -- The school year is winding down, and Columbus City Schools is already looking at the support available to students and families for the 2022-2023 school year. One of those major items is yellow bus transportation provided for eligible high school students to and from schools across the district.
Families of transportation eligible students entering or continuing high school next year — rising 9, 10, 11, and 12 grade students — MUST OPT-IN for transportation services. Parents and guardians can opt-in and confirm their eligible student’s yellow bus transportation by logging into Parent Portal and making a selection by Friday, April 29, at midnight.
This is an opportunity for CCS to improve bus routes and ensure students arrive safely to and from school.
Families needing assistance logging into Parent Portal can contact Jessica Householder at parentportalaccess@columbus.k12.oh.us.
Click HERE or watch above for a video overview of the transportation opt-in process.

The past two years have been more difficult than we could have imagined, but we have proven that we are up to the challenge. It has taken the Power of One community joining together to set our students up for success.
The Columbus Board of Education responds to Governor Mike DeWine signing the controversial HB99 into law. "The Columbus Board of Education will not change current District policy and will continue to prohibit the carrying of weapons on all District property by any Columbus City Schools staff, students, and members of the public. Our decision is driven by the needs of our students, staff, and community."
