What time does the school open?
The school will begin allowing students inside as early as 07:15 AM.
What time does my student need to arrive by?
Students need to arrive by 07:30 AM for Morning Salute.
Does my student need to bring a computer to school?
Yes, your student should bring a personal Chromebook/laptop to school or a district-loaned Chromebook every day. Students are to bring their devices fully charged. If your student does not have a device and needs to borrow a district Chromebook, please notify the school or have your student inform staff.
Where do I find information about the school uniforms?

What attire should be worn for gym class?
Please wait for Ms. Stewart to cover the dress code for her class with students in the first couple of school days.
Is there a remote/digital option if my student has to quarantine?
There is no remote option for students; however, their absences will be excused for the duration that they are required to quarantine. Students will need to engage and communicate with their teachers via email and/or Remind about missed assignments and lessons in order not to fall behind in their classes.
Do students still have to carry clear backpacks this year?
Students will not be required to carry clear backpacks; however, their backpacks are to be stored in their assigned lockers at the beginning of the day and remain in lockers until end-of-day dismissal. Also, students are still prohibited from bringing purses and fanny packs to school.
Where can I find my student's bus schedule?
Bus schedules are accessible through Parent Portal. Please note that the Transportation department needs time to assign a bus route if a student is newly enrolled at CCPSG or if the student's address is changed.
Infinite Campus has an old address on file. How do I change it to my current address?
Parents and guardians must go to the Annual Update section in Parent Portal and follow the instructions there to change their address. Secretaries no longer have access to modify addresses.
I haven't been receiving any communications that are being sent out! What should I do?
Please make sure that your email address(es) and phone number(s) are up-to-date in Parent Portal and that they are set to receive communications from Columbus City Schools.
I can't get into my Parent Portal account. What should I do?
If you do not receive any emails after following the instructions using the "Forgot Username?" and "Forgot Password?" links, please email your valid government-issued photo ID and your inquiry to email@example.com.
