January Tea with Tate Rescheduled
This month's Tea with Tate school open house Zoom will be held on Wednesday January 13 from 5-6pm, instead of the 6th.
Link will be e-mailed and texted out next week.

Happy New Year!!
We hope that you had a great holiday season, and here at Windsor we have been hard at work to support our families and our students in the new year!
Did you know we already offer these services??
- Partnerships with local organizations to provide learning extention centers providing students with internet access, assistance with online coursework, and meals
- Our Knight's Realm free store, providing gently used clothing, shoes, home goods and more, completely free of charge for our Windsor community members
- Our parent store where our parents can earn points for participating in school activities to "spend" on household necessities such as diapers, cleaning supplies, even home goods like dishes!
- Our weekly fresh food drop boxes containing milk, eggs, cheese, produce and more each Tuesday
- Windsor is a CCS FUEL UP site, providing 5 days worth of take home meals to families each Wednesday from 11am-1pm or from 5pm-7pm
In 2021, we are looking to expand our services, so stay tuned for our newest ventures to provided for the needs of our community!!

Fresh Food Giveaway Tuesdays!!
Windsor has partnered with a new organization to provide FRESH Food boxes for Windsor students and thier families every Tuesday, just by driving through the Windsor parking lot!
Each Tuesday, we will have pick-up times, that will vary by week. Please check your e-mail or text messages to get the times for each Tuesday.

The Knight's Realm Free Store
Did you know that Windsor has a free store? Windsor is dedicated to removing all barriers to the education of our students, and have collaborated with community partners to offer our free store.
The Knight's Realm Free Store offers a variety of items such as clean, gently used clothing and shoes in a wide variety of sizes and household items such as dishes, and even home decor!
Everyone is welcome, but due to CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic, you MUST schedule an appointment. Please use this Google document
When making an appointment, please follow the following schedule:
Monday: 9am-12pm-Last Name: A-F
Monday: 1pm-3pm-Last Name: F-L
Wednesday: 9am-12pm Walk-ins No Appointment Needed
Thursday: 9am-12pm Last Name:M-R
Thursday: 12pm-3pm Last Name: S-Z

Getting your child's attendance corrected
If you forget to mark your child's attendance via the parent or student portal, you can e-mail the school at attendance.wstem@columbus.k12.oh.us and we can help get your child's attendance to reflect thier attendance.
If you notice any other discrepancies regarding your child's attendance, or have any additional questions please send an e-mail or give us a call in the main office at (614)365-5906.

Learning Opportunities for Your Child!!
Windsor STEM is excited to have teamed up with two community organizations to provide learning opportunities for children in the Linden area!
Students in Grades K-2
St. Stephen's Community House has partnered with Windsor to sponser a virtul learning site for students in grades K-2, providing them with wi-fi access, help with school work, and meals. The program runs from 12:45pm-3:30pm. St. Stephen's will also offer extended learning hours from 3:30pm until 6:00 pm.

Students Grades 3-6
Douglas Rec Center has also opened thier doors for in-person school help for students in grades 3-6. The rec center will be able to support 32 students in the 9:00am-12:00pm session and another 32 in the 12:30pm-3:30pm session. Students will be provided grab and go breakfast and lunch during their assigned time. Registration is on a first come first served basis at http://www.columbusrecparks.com
or you can register in person at the Douglas Rec Center, but a parent or guardian must sign up thier child before attending.

Learning Extension Centers
Columbus City Schools today announced that it is partnering with Columbus Recreation and Parks to support the educational development of our city’s youth. Columbus Recreation and Parks Department will have Active Learning Points at many community centers, where students can bring their computer – or access a computer if needed – to complete and get assistance with schoolwork. The department also will have Physical Activity Sites where kids can participate in structured activities to help them stay active.
