City League Stars showcases CCS' outstanding student-athletes and their collegiate goals.

Dailyn Swain, class of 2023, is a City League Star at Columbus Africentric Early College PreK-12. The 6'7'' basketball standout is rated #4 in Ohio by 247 Sports. He talks about his bond with his coach and how his teammates make him better.

Coach Michael Bates tells us that Dailyn is special, and he is happy that other kids in the City League have a role model to look up to and possibly achieve the same level of success that Dailyn has reached one day.

Swain also tells us why he chose to play basketball at Xavier University next year.
