From the Desk of Aniyah Davis: Global Research

This quarter in history class, we were working on a project about different countries that we picked. We had to make posters about our countries, and mine was Jordan. Some things I learned about Jordan are that it was colonized after World War I and became an independent country in 1946.

Another random fact I learned about this place was that they have the Dead Sea. It is the lowest point on Earth and is about 420 meters below sea level. Jordan also has a mysterious desert called the Wadi Rum that I could not find much information about.
