Three Schools Transitioning to Remote Learning, One School Closed on Jan. 31, 2022

January 30, 2022 -- Due to an increased number of staff absences, three schools will transition to remote learning on Monday, January 31st.  The following schools will NOT hold in-person classes:

Dominion Middle School (added Monday at 5:45 a.m.)
Highland Elementary School
Marion-Franklin High School (added Monday at 5:15 a.m.)

Classes are canceled for the following school due to a heating issue in the building. There will be no remote learning or in-person classes for:

West Broad Elementary School

All other Columbus City Schools will be in-person learning for Monday, January 31, 2022. This includes the BlendEd Pre-K through 8 staff who typically work on-site at the Boys School.

The District will continue to monitor staff absences that come in through the evening and Monday morning and notify families, teachers, and staff of any updates via the District dialer, email, and local news outlets.
