May 4, 2023 -- Welcome back to another #TogetherWeReadCCS storytime! Today, we are joined by Bhim Basnet, who’s a member of our district’s English as a Second Language Department or ESL. Bhim will be reading Binny’s Diwali by Thrity Umrigar, an Indian-American best-selling author. 

Binny’s Diwali is a heartwarming story with enchanting illustrations about the courage it takes to share the customs and traditions of one's culture. Like many of our students and families across the district, our author reminds readers that where you come from matters.
