January 27, 2023 -- Welcome back to another #TogetherWeReadCCS storytime! We’re joined by Krista Frost, a regional communications specialist in the District and former local reporter, as she reads Amigo by Carlos Zamora.

Amigo is a colorful story of two young roosters who begin a soccer game and build a friendship as they discover each other's language. As their friendship continues to grow across each incredibly illustrated page, our characters begin to see that even though they’re different, they have a lot in common.
